Every day, we hear stories about children struggling in school. And every day, we wonder why a Functional Vision Test isn’t the first place parents, educators and medical practitioners start as they try to determine a cause for the struggles.

Consider the numbers. According to the American Optometric Association, one in four children has a vision problem that affects their ability to learn. Ma…ny of those problems are vision problems which aren’t detected during typical vision screenings performed by schools and pediatricians.
